Willow Squires
Hi everyone! My name is Willow Squires and I’m the Director of Communications for the 2020-2021 CHOGM on the Rock Planning Committee. I’m currently a third-year chemistry/biochemistry joint honours student living in St. John’s, NL, and in my spare time I enjoy hiking, playing piano, reading, watching cheesy movies, and researching cell-cell communication in B lymphocytes (immunology is my jam!). This is my first year on the CHOGM on the Rock Planning Committee, and I’m super excited to be involved in organizing an awesome CHOGM session for you all in the new year!

CHOGM on the Rock is an organization in it's fifth year. Inspired by their participation in the National Student Commonwealth Forum, current board members decided that youth in Newfoundland and Labrador should have the opportunity to learn about the Commonwealth through an imitation of its summit meeting.
Thus CHOGM on the Rock was born.
In partnership with the Royal Commonwealth Society Newfoundland Branch and Canada Branch. Special thanks to the Royal Commonwealth Society Ottawa Branch for usage of materials from their National Student Commonwealth Forum program.
